Our Breeding Plans

As Helga developed from a nice puppy to an adult bitch of

sound and typical Leonberger temperament

with good physical shape, body construction and general health

we decided to breed her as we really like the idea to make

this majestic impressive breed better known in our country !

As the genetic pool is limited due to the fact that the no. of leos

living in NZ and OZ isn't very high and as we wanted to contribute

as well with fresh bloodlines, we decided to search for

"long - distance - lover's" for Helga.

After quite a good deal of searching around, with the help of Helga's breeder we

went in contact with European leo-friends.

With their help we checked out the possible combinations

and imported finally some frozen semen.

Helga will be breed at her next season which should be in December 2002.

We cross our fingers for sucess and look forward

to a healthy litter of puppies !
